Traffic Diverted on Jalan Galunggung amid Construction of Dukuh Atas JPM

The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) is detouring traffic on Jalan Galunggung to allow the construction of the Dukuh Atas Multipurpose Crossing Bridge (JPM). It is carried out to connect Dukuh Atas LRT Station to Sudirman Station.

We hope that road users can adjust to the diversions

It has been applied from July 29 to August 12, 2022.

Dishub Head Syafrin Liputo said the project is located on the north side of Jalan Galunggung, precisely above the Ciliwung River.

"Types of work include installation of ramp doors, car cranes setting, PJK3, onsite, erection girders 1-6, unloading cranes, and demob cranes," he expressed, Thursday (8/4).

Here is traffic engineering according to the stages of work:

A) Phase 1 (July 29 to August 12 from 9 PM to 4 PM)

- Use the north side of Jalan Galunggung

- Traffic from Karet to Manggarai is diverted into one lane using the South side of Transjakarta Lane and mix traffic with public transportation

- Traffic from Manggarai to Karet becomes 2 lanes of mixed traffic with public transportation

B) Phase 2 (July 29 to August 12 from 4 PM to 9 PM)

- Use the north side of Jalan Galunggung

- Traffic from Karet to Manggarai is divided into two lanes, diverted using the South and North Transjakarta lanes, opening mixed traffic with public transportation

- Traffic from Manggarai to Karet becomes 2 lanes of mixed traffic with public transportation

“We hope that road users can adjust to the diversions, obey the traffic signs and instructions from officers and prioritize road safety," he said.
